All About Harlie

An unexpected highlight this week was a project that Harlie came home with called "All About Me".  Now, Harlie always comes home each day from daycare loaded with drawings, crafts and worksheets that she's worked on that day or throughout the week, and I really love those gifts - a little peek into her daily activities.  This particular project though, was an extra special treat for me. It would be a fun thing to do with her once a year, to see how her tastes and favorite things change as she gets older.

    Are you kidding me...I am melting over here. SO darn cute. Dearest Harlie, one of auntie's favorite things is having your over, darlin'! :) Sweetness. Love it!

    I loved how different and unique her answers were! Dark blue? And looved hearing one of her favorite things are eating with Austin. And dad makes her toast with butter! Smart little girl. What a great surprise for you at the end of a work day Erin (and Scott).

    I really dislike saying "when I was a kid" because I have no way to relate to these things except with my own experience. But when I was, I had a similar book made at Good Shepherd preschool and it still is so interesting for me to read my favorite things. It's so strange, they are the same things I like now. Kitties, books, and my favorite sport was "swinging". Ha. Still don't like to run much.

    Hold onto this forever! And squish that cute kid for me.
