The next day was Father's Day and so we let Scott sleep in and the kids and I fixed him up a man (Erin) pleasing breakfast: Scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns and english muffins.
After breakfast, the boys headed to the golf course...

We ended the day with some Samurai take-out. It was Harlie's first sushi experience. And she scarfed it down!
And finally, since Harlie was sick last week, on Tuesday she gave Scott the Father's Day gift that she had made at daycare.
It was a really wonderful weekend and a great way to kick-off summer!
I love that your family is making a tradition of going to the El Dorado County Fair every year. Looks like such a good time and you're right, the fact that it is far less crowded and hectic than the State Fair is a definite plus.
ReplyDeleteLove the picture of you and H in the bumper car. Both of your smiles could light up a room! And the pics of the kids playing in the grass are hysterical. In the first one, it looks like Mazzy is kicking Harlie down the hill! ;-) Another favorite is the one of H looking down on the world from way up high. Are you on a ferris wheel?
Glad to hear Harlie enjoyed her first sushi experience. That girl is SUCH a good eater! Must be so satisfying for you. :)
Fun post!
Al, yeah we were on the ferris wheel. I wondered if the height would affect her, but it didn't at all. We had to keep her from climbing up and out...she wanted to go hang out with Max and Maz in the Creegs "car".
ReplyDeleteYou got so many great/fun pictures, E! That day was a blast and I loved seeing the joy on the kids faces and having the opportunity to act like a kid again and enjoy the rides, too! Ali and Stephen had agood idea, date night at the fair. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo of Scott with his (almost grown) son. Very sweet of them playing golf... look into years to coem when Austin comems home to visit. :)
Of, course H loves sushi....she's a rockstar in the eating worthy foods department. So fun!
