Father's Day BBQ

We were able to get the family together this weekend to FINALLY celebrate Father's day for Dan, Josh and Scott. The Creeg's hosted and we had some YUMMY tri-tip and an old fashioned water balloon toss! Josh and Scott were the champions, but unfortunately Josh wanted to keep going after everyone else was out of the game and ended up getting soaked....good thing it was a hot day!

Weekend with Maz!

This weekend Scott and I had the pleasure of watching Mazzy while Keri and Josh were away in Santa Cruz for a wedding. I have to tell you, that girl's laugh makes my heart smile!

Father's Day Camping Trip

Scott, Austin and Steve went up to Union Valley Reservoir this weekend for Father's Day weekend and had a wonderful time! I'm thinking it should become an annual tradition!

Blueberry Pie!

This morning I went over to the Creegs for a Father's Day visit with my dad, Keri And Maz. My dad had bought some blueberries at the farmer's market and asked Keri and I to make a pie for him. Well, we didn't have enough blueberries to fill the entire pie pan so we ended up with a sort of pie/torte, but man was it delicious! Good teamwork gals!

Baby Update

Well folks, Scott's blood test came back and he is NOT a Cystic Fibrosis carrier! Yippity Doo Dah!

Memorial Day Getaway

Scott and I along with the Creegers spent the weekend at the most amazing place along the Russian River. It was so relaxing and beautiful, we can't wait to go back and bring the kids...so many things to do without ever leaving the backyard!

Baby Update

So I had my second doctors appt. and we just basically went over my blood test and ultrasound. Dr. Bu has moved my due date up one day to December 7th, because the ultrasound didn't show me as far along as we previosuly estimated. I'm sure there is still a chance of the due date changing as we go along, but I'm still shooting for the first week in December.

Everything on the blood test looked okay, except for the fact that I am a cystic fibrosis carrier (which I knew already, being Keri's twin and all :-)). So Scott has to go in for a blood test now, to screen him and see if he is a carrier as well. If he is, then I'll find out more about the chances of the baby having CF at our genetics counseling appt., but I'm not concerning myself with that too much, I'm sure everything will be fine.

My morning sickness seems to be getting a little better and I hope when I hit 12 weeks on Memorial Day weekend that it will be gone for good! Cross your fingers!

Mother's Day

We had a great day up at Mom and Dan's. The weather was perfect and the food was deeeeelicious!

Then when I picked Austin up, he gave me the sweetest card. He had handmade it and inside it said "No matter what I do, I will always love you!" It made me laugh and tear up at the same time! He's such a special kid with a huge heart.
